What Minimalist style is
Minimalism is the discipline of keeping only what matters and letting it show: a few well-proportioned pieces, hidden storage, bare surfaces, and a restricted palette. It is less about buying and more about choosing, so the "Furniture only" and "Enhance what I have" modes with a short must-include list suit it best.
Colors and materials
Palette: White, warm grey, black, and one natural wood tone.
Materials: Matte lacquer, pale or black wood, wool, linen, concrete-look and stone surfaces, and glass.
The 5 pieces that make the look
- A simple low sofa or platform bed
- A storage console or sideboard with flat fronts
- One sculptural light fixture
- A plain wool rug
- A single large artwork or mirror
Tick these in the Must include list when you design and the shopping list is built around them, with Amazon listings for each, priced to your budget.
Mistakes to avoid
- Confusing minimal with empty. Proportion and material quality carry the room.
- Visible clutter — cables, remotes, chargers. Storage is part of the style.
- All-white with no warmth. Add one wood tone.
What it costs on Amazon
Because you buy little, the budget goes into quality: $800–$2,000 for a room, usually on two or three pieces.

Questions
Can I keep my furniture and just add the Minimalist look?
Yes. Choose Enhance what I have and the AI keeps your existing furniture, adding rugs, lighting, art, textiles, and accessories in Minimalist style.
Is the render accurate?
It is an AI preview of style, color, and scale in your actual photo — not a measurement. Check product dimensions on Amazon before buying.
